An Amazing LP Supercell Really Gets It's Act Together

Chase Summary Page 2

The cell became better organized and had incredible low precipitation characteristics. The super cell was beginning to move over Woodward just as we approached the southern end of the city. The storm showed great striations and a powerful updraft. Funnel clouds dipped up and down from the wall cloud periodically as we drove thru Woodward and east of Woodward on 412. We took S.R.50 north and positioned ourselves in the RFD region of the supercell. Just as we did a long rope funnel was produced in front of us. The funnel had good motion, but it had already become occluded and dissipated eventually.
