December 19-20, 2009 New England Blizzard
| Jim and MaryLeigh Bishop documented part of a historic blizzard that dropped over two feet of snow in areas from D.C. to Long Island and southern Connecticut. Their home in Shelton, CT received approximately 7.5 inches of snow, but reports from around the area ranged from 6 to 14 inches, and areas in Long Island received 24 inches. The photos shown below were taken in Shelton, CT during the night of the 19th and the day of the 20th. |
