Norman,OK Squall Line
Tom and Simon took a very short trip to an open field near the old SPC and Norman NWS Office locations to shoot some pics of a gust front and squall line, which was passing over Central Oklahoma. This is a pretty good shot of the striations in the shelf cloud; looling wnw.
Shelf cloud again; looking due north.
some lightning behind the gust front; looking almost due west along Robinson St.
Edge of the shelf cloud had passed over us and this is a shot of a secondary gust front marking the true leading edge of the precip; notice lightning obscured by rain, looking almost due west.
